Hello. My name is Jonah, and this summer, I have two fantastic opportunities to serve the Lord and experience His graceful and holy presence.

 The first opportunity I have is an event called SICM (Student Institute of Campus Ministry), where I will be sent to Washington to learn about outreach and leadership. When I am there, I will attend several classes where I will be taught valuable lessons and subjects, such as evangelism, discipleship, real-life mentoring, small groups, and so much more. I will be going to SICM from May 18th to May 24th. Once I am back, I plan to use these skills to lead my small group and help God’s presence grow at my school campus.

My next opportunity will be from June 29th to August 4th, where I will again join GraceWorks in Alaska. GraceWorks is an organization that aims to share the gospel, carry out the good news, and show the love of Jesus to people in Alaskan communities. I will specifically be spreading the gospel to a community at a local park in Palmer, Alaska. I have been with this community since 2022, and I have seen so many of the individuals there grow into their own person with a deep love for the Lord. While there, I aim to continue to help them grow in their faith in the Lord. During my time there, I will be even more helpful than in previous years, especially with the lessons I will learn from SICM.
