We invite you to join us for Bara’s new sermon series, THE TABLE, that will not only change the way you view community but will also inspire you to actively participate in its transformative power. Just as a well-prepared meal brings people together around the table, biblical community can be a feast for your soul. Through prayer, invitation, service, and generosity, we will see that not only were we created for community, we are called to create community that is vibrant, satisfying, and transformative. Come savor every moment of this nourishing journey with us, fostering bonds that glorify God and uplift one another. Don't miss out – mark your calendars and prepare to be transformed at THE TABLE!

Series Flow

Week 1: "Pray Before Eating" (Acts 1) In the first sermon, we will discover the power of preparing our heart through prayer, just as we pray before a meal. Acts 1 will remind us that prayer lays the foundation for authentic connection and unity within our community. It's the spiritual secret sauce that infuses our interactions with purpose and meaning.

Week 2: "Let’s Eat!" (Acts 2) Get ready to delve into Acts 2, where we will realize that the invitation to true community is always extended. Just as a meal is shared, Acts 2 reveals the beautiful truth that we are invited to partake in a community that fills our hunger for belonging, understanding, and genuine fellowship. Like a nourishing meal, this community will satisfy our soul's deepest cravings.

Week 3: "Pass the Potatoes" (Acts 3) Prepare to be inspired by Acts 3 as it teaches us about the symbiotic relationship between biblical community and serving. Just as we pass the potatoes around the table, the act of serving one another becomes the staple of our shared life. Just as the potato nourishes and sustains us physically, serving will sustain and enrich our community spiritually. It's in serving that we will find the true essence of selflessness and unity.

Week 4: “Save Room for Dessert!” (Acts 4) As we conclude our series, Acts 4 presents a delightful analogy – dessert. Just as dessert adds sweetness to a meal, Acts 4 highlights how generosity and sharing our resources sweeten our experience of community. When we save room for dessert, we intentionally create space for generosity, ensuring that our community is rich, fulfilling, and marked by Christ-like love.
